Experience the Danish west coast
Challenge yourself and go on a 3-day luxury hike along the Danish west coast. In 3 days you will walk about 60 kilometers from Blokhus to Hirtshals.
Go out and experience the Danish west coast with OurStuff. Here we will take you on an approx. 60 kilometer hike along the North Sea - Blokhus to Hirtshals. The trip is with accommodation and breakfast at Løkken badehotel and Villa Vest in Lønstrup.

The trip starts at Blokhus beach and we advise you to be driven or come by public transport, as the trip ends in Hirtshals and you will not be transported back to the start.
But on the first day we will walk 20 kilometers from Blokhus to Løkken. Here we will have an overnight stay and continue 15 towards Lønstrup. In Løstrup we will take another night and subsequently take the last stretch of 22 kilometers to Hirtshals, which is the end of the trip.
Packing list:
Practical footwear and attire (On the trip we will encounter different terrain and therefore it is a good idea to wear practical footwear that can withstand a little of everything)
Possibly hiking poles
A backpack that is comfortable to wear and can hold the most necessary things.
Drinking bottle for the trip.
Possibly swimwear if the weather allows it.
PROGRAM FOR THE TRIP
Day 1: Departure from Blokhus beach
From Blokhus - Løkken - 20 kilometers
We will meet at Blokhus beach (cannon guild), where we will greet each other and start the trip well. We will now walk along the beach towards Løkken. The pace is depending on the participants and there will be a lunch and coffee break along the way. When we reach Løkken, we will check in at Løkken beach hotel, which in 2018 was named the best beach hotel of the year. The beach hotel is centrally located in the cozy seaside resort, so there is plenty of opportunity to experience city life and relaxation.
Day 2: Course towards Lønstrup and communal dining
From Løkken - Lønstrup - 15 km
After a good night's sleep, the trip will continue towards Lønstrup. It is a hike of about 15 kilometers and again with the North Sea by your side and our guide who will tell about the area. In Lønstrup we will check in at Villa Vest Badehotel, which is known for safeguarding enjoyment of life and quality.
Here there are all possibilities to recharge your batteries for our last stretch and just enjoy nature and freedom.
In the evening, OurStuff thinks it could be nice to enjoy a dinner together at Restaurant Villa Vest which has a direct view of the North Sea and with food as good as the view.
Day 2: Finish in Hirtshals
From Lønstrup - Hirtshals - 22 km
The last and longest stretch of the trip is from Lønstrup to Hirtshals. We will walk 22 kilometers and reach the terminus which is the train station in Hirtshals. If you want to spend the night in Hirtshals before returning home, there are plenty of opportunities in the small fishing village.
But otherwise the day is about to say goodbye and thank you for a good trip.

EXPERIENCES ON THE TRIP
Løkken beach hotel
The first night we will check in at Løkken bathing hotel, which was named bathing hotel of the year in 2018.
Løkken beach hotel is located right in the center of the cozy seaside resort. There are a few hundred meters to the sea.
Wild West
The second night we will check in at Villa Vest in the old fishing village, Lønstrup.
Here there is time to relax and recharge your batteries completely in the peaceful North Jutland surroundings,
The white bath houses
Every year from September to May, there are about 480 privately owned white bathhouses like pearls on a string.
The many white bathhouses are a symbol of Løkken and the way bathhouses can gather the family for good summer evenings
Rubjerg Knude Fyr
On the edge of the North Sea is the famous Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, which is moved every year due to the harsh nature around.
The lighthouse was built in 1900 and was lit for the first time in December
Lønstrup Klint
Lønstrup cliff stretches from Lønstrup to Løkke, and is a stretch of about 12 kilometers.
The cliff is unique to Denmark's geology and was formed during the last ice age.
North Shore Surf
Here you have more energy and you want to try your hand at the west coast's great activity. Then we would recommend you take down because North Shore Surf which offers SUP and surf courses for all ages and levels.
Furreby Coastal Battery
Scattered around North Jutland, there are historical traces of World War II.
Some of the most beautiful and best preserved bunker facilities are located in this area and on our hike we will come because Furreby Coastal Battery.
