Day 1: Camp in your serene oasis 
The trip starts with picking up tents and equipment in Aarhus. Then you set course for Sønderskov by the Silkeborg Lakes, where you will enjoy your stay in some of Denmark's most beautiful nature. Here sparkling lakes meander through the landscape, the forests spread lushly, and the hilly terrain surprises with beautiful views. When you arrive at Sønderskov, just find your perfect, peaceful oasis. Maybe with the lush treetops like the firmament above you or at the edge of the forest overlooking the sunrise over the soft, shiny waters of the lakes? You decide. Because when you bring your own furnished glamping tent, you can enjoy nature at close quarters just as you dream of. Far away from other campers, city life and noisy passing. Set up the tent and allow yourself to breathe a little deeper than you usually do. Because here you can really let both the calm and the shoulders lower.  

Enjoy the day in peace and quiet with relaxation at the tent - or go exploring in the beautiful nature, perhaps with a hike to the top of Himmelbjerget, a boat trip with the iconic wheeled steamer Hjejlen (for a fee), or experience the lakes with a nice trip in a kayak, canoe or boat.

Day 2: Lots of activities in nature 
After a wonderful night's sleep in the luxury tent, you wake up today to the lights and sounds of nature. It's time to get up for breakfast outdoors. Then you have the day off for the many experiences and activities that the area offers. Rinse off your sleep with a morning dip from the round bathing jetty at Østre Søbad. You can also explore the Søhøjlandet - for example with a hike on the historic Hærvej or one of the other 300 kilometers of marked hiking trails found in the area. You can also hop in the saddle for beautiful bike routes or challenging mountain bike tracks. In Silkeborg Eagle Reserve you can experience the impressive, large birds of prey (for a fee), and on the lakes you can spend a peaceful day of angling. Or maybe a nice ride is more for you (for a fee). Silkeborg entices with unimaginable opportunities to be active in nature, so just throw yourself over your favorite activities. In the afternoon, the tent is packed together, and the trip goes to Aarhus, where equipment and tents are handed over.

A wonderful mini-adventure is at the end of the road, but the memories of peace, tranquility and experiences in nature warm up long after everyday life is upon you again.

Note:  Some of the experiences are for a fee with the local providers. However, you have ample opportunity to take your own kayak, subboard, bicycle, mountain bike or similar with you on the trip.
